Almeida’s Surgical Insights

Charlotte, NC — David Almeida MD, MBA was recently featured in Retina Today's 5 Questions section. In his article, A Brief Guide to Choroidal Hemorrhages, he gives excellent surgical insight and techniques.

David is a practicing retina surgeon at Metrolina Eye Associates in Charlotte, North Carolina where he treats diseases of the vitreous, retina, and macula. His research interests include proliferative vitreoretinopathy, infectious endophthalmitis, diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration and complex surgical techniques

He was a surgical fellow with Dr. Mahajan and he continues to be an active collaborator with the Mahajan lab.
