NIH Features Proteomic Eye Clock

Palo Alto, CA — Research from the Mahajan lab was featured in NIH's newsite, NIH Research Matters. The proteomic studies published in Cell detail how  liquid biopsies from the eye can be used to trace protein expression to specific cells that reveal eye health, disease, and aging.  They also created a "proteomic clock" that can estimate a patients age in healthy and diseased eyes.
