Teja Chemudupati on Jeopardy!

Palo Alto, CA —Teja, a member of the Mahajan Lab newly named to the role of Translational Research Manager, is set to appear on America’s favorite quiz show: Jeopardy!

 After taking the online test along with 100,000 other potential contestants earlier this year, Teja advanced through additional testing, auditions, and interviews until he was selected to appear on Jeopardy!

He taped at Sony Pictures Studios several weeks ago and said of the experience, “It was surreal to take part in an iconic show that I have loved since I was a little kid. The whole Jeopardy! process was so thrilling and fast-paced—I’m looking forward to seeing it on TV alongside everyone else.”

Teja added, “I was lucky to have been part of one of the last tape days with Alex Trebek. Seeing him at the host’s podium while we went back-and-forth will be a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life.”

 If you’d like to see how Teja did on Jeopardy! the episode will air on Thursday, December 17^th 2020 nationwide.

The local bay area broadcast will be aired on ABC7 at 7:00PM on Thursday, 12/17 barring any last-minute programming changes.
