
Curran joined the lab in 2025. He is a first-year medical student at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine and is interested in pursuing a residency in ophthalmology. He received his B.S. from Molloy University, after which he spent several years at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in an Alzheimer’s disease lab using proteomics to identify biomarkers of aging and cognitive decline. His research interests include using translational omics to discover novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets for retinal diseases.
