These dressing forceps are modified with a sharp tip. They are designed for the combination of puncturing tissue with the sharp tip when the forceps are closed and then grasping tissue with the blunt platform as the forceps are opened and closed. This allows for an efficient, single-step maneuver to enucleate the mouse eye for molecular and histological studies. The end is gently curved to fit the globe and orbit countour.
